These fish are new to the tank as of Thursday. All except the tetras are acting very strange. They are all scavenging around the tank relentlessly non-stop and going straight to the surface and then diving/falling back down. I'm new to aquariums so I'm not sure if this is normal for fish placed in a new environment.
My readings are: Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 7-8, and pH~7.3
2 Male Dwarf Gourmis
3 Dalmation Mollies
8 Neon Tetras
4 RUmmy Nosed Tetras
4 Glow Light Tetras
6 Coryfish
I know the coryfish are known to go the surface and then dive back down, but I have not heard of the mollies and gourmis doing that. Are they just "following" what the other fish are doing?
I fed them all this morning and then vacced out the remains after about 5 minutes.
Thanks.
