I have been reading about feeding different fishes and have a question about bottom feeders. Its suggested that sinking pellets be feed along with flake foods to make sure food gets to the bottom feeders and not all ate by the top swimmers. The o ly sinking food I can find is goldfish pellets. Would that be okay for cories and such?

hello and welcome.
may i ask where in the world you are ? as most if not all pet stores
should stock pellets for catfish, the other option if you are able,
would to buy on line, which i do quite often.
i hope this helps.

Willow,
Hi and thank you for replying. I live in southern Ohio, its a very poor area with only a local Walmart and a small petstore. Other than algae waffers I could find nothing else that sinks except for the goldfish pellets. They do also have frozen foods but i was just wondering if a food formulated for goldfish had any nutritional value for tropical fish. I like to feed a varied diet to keep the fish interested and happy as i would think in the wild they would have a choice of all kinds of things, a buffet as you will. Lol
Again,
Thanks
Dianne

A name of the goldfish product would help. I could most likely find the ingredients online & go from there.
