are snails a problem around fish spawning ?

are snails going to eat the eggs or not ?

I have seen pond snails and ramshorns cruise right on by and over cory eggs with no harm. The only other fish that I have breed with snails in the tank were Apistos. They will kill just about anything within ~8" of their egg cave. I lost a huge ramshorn the other week.
