Im new to planted aquariums and i recently purchased some dwarf hairgrass a few days ago. At first it was nice and green but after a recent water change i added some API leaf zone "aquarium plant food" and now its turning brown. Is this due to the plant food?

Welcome to the Forum Charlie!

Can you provide a lil more detail? Do you know what kind of lights(s)? you have? What size tank is this? Dwarf Hairgrass requires moderate to bright lights. So I don't think it was the fertilizer that did it, well atleast not all of it. It could a lack of nutrients as I am thinking API leaf zone didn't have all the needed nutrients. You need something that is more well rounded like Seachems Flourish Comprehensive. There is a couple other brands that are a well rounded fertilizer too but I have forgotten their names :|
Also could provide a pic of the plant/tank as this will help. Are any other plants having issues??
