I purchased some driftwood from Petmountain.com that was much more reasonable than pet store prices. There are many sites online offering driftwood for aquariums.

Meh - I enjoy finding and prepping my own. A nice pressure wash with clean source water and boiling (if the piece will fit in any of my containers) and/or soaking. I've not had any issues yet and it's MUCH cheaper, lol.
That being said - for"branchy" wood I think manzanita is a great way to go - there are several sites online you can find for them that have fairly reasonable prices and great selection of size/shape
