do you scoop out moltings?

so, my cleaner shrimp molted a few days ago, again. i have been scooping out the molts when i find them but i'm wondering, is this necessary?

so, my cleaner shrimp molted a few days ago, again. i have been scooping out the molts when i find them but i'm wondering, is this necessary?
Are there tank mates that would eat them ? It could be a good opportunity to provide natural food. Otherwise, I'd remove them.
Shrimp will eat the molt's and can derive calcium from them which is good for development of their exoskeleton (new shell).
interesting! i also have hermit crabs that are probably eating them. if i see one and don't get it out right away, it seems to disappear.
looking in there a little while ago. one of the hermits was holding up a little sign that said "bbq sauce please!"
