my question is, if I only get 1 Ranchu goldfish, will it get lonely? Or will it do fine? Because I have a 29 gallon Tank, which people say is to small For 2, but I also heard if I get 1, it can get lonely. But will I be ok if I only get 1 Ranchu?

They’re social fish that like the company of their own kind, so yes it will be lonely on its own.
Most fancy goldfish don’t grow anywhere near the size they Can grow to, so you should be fine with two, as long as you do enough water changes to keep the nitrates low, although you might need to upgrade eventually.

Ok, thank you! If the fish do reach a big size, I do have a place to fit a 40 gallon if I really need to. So thanks for your help!
