I'm already discussing this on the fish subforum, but I'd like some feedback here from the plant specialists.
Can I grow this Cryptocoryne crispulata var. balansae in a high flow (17x) river tank with the bottom being just roundish pebbles? Or do I need a softer substrate?
Roundish pebbles + root tablet + column ferts? Would that do it?
Should be ok if the light's high enough. My C. balansae are all in sand, but the recommended substrate is small gravel. Best way is to try it out! Ferts (tab and column dose) will work well.
