Just here to show off pictures of Zanna (Italian for fang). He has grown quite a bit since I got him. I feed him STRICTLY Repashy's Gecko Diet. I mist him daily and hold him 2-3 times a week. I got him October 20, 2014 when he was only a few months only and they thought he was a girl. If you have any tips for keeping Cresties I would love to hear them!

Gotta love the crested geckos. No insects or worms for the little guy? I feed some baby food once in a while and he seems to really like that but I know not all cresteds like the same fruits.

Well worms aren't good for them. The exoskeleton is too hard to digest or something. And he gets all his vitamins from Repashy. There is no need (other than for variety) to feed him crickets which I may start doing even though he couldn't hunt if his life depended on it (he would be dead in the wild)

Wax worms was what I was referring to, they pupate into moths wich are fun to watch the geckos jump to catch. I feel that giving the animals live prey gives them a needed variety and enriches their lives, I find it sad to see an animal that has lost all its natural abilities not to mention it is entertaining to people like me.

Recently I have felt the same, and that's why I am adding them back to his diet sparingly

They are amazing animals that's for sure. Making a sweet terrerium for one would be half the fun. Lots of real plants would be nice.

I know! The problem is I can never find a retailer selling them (other than plant nurseries)

That's to bad , as they can damage easily so it is nice to see what your buying. It can be hard to ship something back if an order was unsatisfactory or B grade,as they call under par animals.
