I am just wondering, I went to my LFS today and saw some little crabs, which I jokingly asked if it could come in my aquarium. She said that would likely be snacks for my Oscars, but that a crawdad would be fine in the aquarium.

I think it'd be neat, but what's the word here? 8)

Crayfish? :blueshake:
I'll never try to mix it with other fish. It has large claws indicating it's predatory. It may attack even larger fish if given the chance.

It's best to keep the crayfish alone in a tank.

I bought a crayfish once and it ate my harlequin. After that I chucked it into my female betta bowl and move the betta to my community tank...poor harlequin

those things are quite aggressive and they don't stay small forever. i've seen them go all out to get their meal.

I got a crawfish and it isnt small, i was kinda scared that he would eat my fish. He hasnt, even though my pleco's tail looked a little messed up. I ve had him in there for about 2.5 weeks. Since there are cases that crawfish have eaten fish i say get one at your own risk
