Just came across this particular cory, also known as violet cory. I was just wondering how easy it is to find these guys? I checked out aquabid and didn't dr any. Was wondering what other places to check for them at? My guess is that any that are available for sale are probably wild caught, although it is possible that there are captive breed ones available.

They are very hardy fish and breed easily. Also called Smudge Cories.

The wetspot will list if the fish as tank raise, if nothing is listed it will be wild caught.
They have been in stock for a while at Wetspot but I would suggest you get them while you can. It took me 4 months of looking to get mine.

www.nbmaquatics.com, has more rare version of C similis. Its one of the C numbers and I dont recall which one.
