Corals will go through stages were they wont open at all if not only a little bit. As long as they arent coming off of what ever they are attached to its good. When they do open back up they should be bigger then before.
I have been watching mine and each one is different some will stay closed for about a week but some will stay closed a day. NOw if you start to see some stuff coming from them more then likely they are dying. Or like I stated earlier if they falling off the rock.
i'm havint the same problem with my yellow polyps, a couple of them haven't opened for the past week, i checked my water and everything is fine and nothing seems to be growing on them or around them. however, a couple weeks ago two polyps or so did fall off the rock and reattached themselves and are doing fine now. should i be worried?
