Has anyone done this or known anyone to do this?

I am looking into homes for sale. I absolutely will not have a pool. But if I find the right house and it has a pool, I wouldn't mind converting it to a pond if I can. So if it is possible, I'd love some information on converting them.

Thanks!

It's possible to do, but it's a lot of work. You have to put in a proper filter or filters, make sure there aren't any vents the fish can get sucked into, and may have to re-do some piping.

If you look about on youtube, there are many people who have also done it. =)

Yes, I've seen some on Youtube too. I think you have to add some levels for plants etc for the pots to sit around the rim, but it would make a phenomenal Koi pond. Check their water requirements for # Gallons so you'll know if the pool is big enough. It might not have to be too deep depending on where you live.
