I feed my Cics the Hikari gold pellets which contain a carotenoid which enhances the red hues on the fish. They have a varied diet Beefheart, lettuce, Cichlid flake, various algee pellets and JMC catfish pellets for the diggers. But is there any other colour enhancing feeds you know off ?

Shrimp/prawns/krill bring out reds. If you can find it (cant remember the exact name) but its a flowerhorn pellet which is suppost to have a lot of color enhancers.

Paprika and carrots contain carotene and can serve as color enhancers.:mrgreen:
