Cleaning Plastic/Polyester Plants and Decorations

Does anyone remove their plastic or polyester plants for cleaning? I vacuum the gravel, wipe off the inside of the tank, clean the filter intake and all of the filter housing, then add fresh water. I have yet to clean any of my artificial plants though. I have a very minor algae problem which is more from phosphates in my water than anything else.

So- to clean or not to clean artificial plants or other decorations?

You can clean them if you really want to. There's bleach that you can use to clean them.:)

I actually saw a plastic plant cleaner, but I'm not sure if it's really necessary for any reason other than aesthetics. Mine look a little grimy (for lack of a better term) and I am wondering if it really needs to be done.
