I have just purchased a second hand marine
tank 60cm x 30cm x 35cm with a fluval u4 filter.

What would be suggested for cleaning and preparation of tank and filter to turn it into a freshwater tank.

Also will the filter be overkill for the size of the tank?

My tank works out at 63ltr or 13gallon.
