Hi guys,
How's it going, haven't posted in a bit, but i've gotten myself in a really unique situation.
I have recently purchased a 4 foot tank which holds approximately 190 litres which is approximately 50 gallons according to our friend google.
Now i've then purchased a foam rock looking background. The ones that you have to stick to the glass using silicon. I hope you guys know what im talking about.
I've completed attaching it to the fish tank using silicone, but to clean the excess silicon i've used mineral turpentine which is what it said on the silicone container to use to clean up.
Now i'm quite confident that i've cleaned it up rather well, but leaves me to ponder if the mineral turpentine has been removed also, i'm planning to scrub the areas i've used turpentine on with a sponge and warm water.
Just wondering if anyone else has come to the same situation and what they used to ensure that the turpentine does not affect the water quality when the tank is filled?
thanks for reading a wall of words! and thanks in advance to helpful advice!
