LOL my brother in law had a cat named Chiclet (Gum) because it followed him and his little boy home one day when they went for a walk and never left and stuck to them like gum everytime they went for a walk.

Lucky Nigel NoName is quite the popular little fella around here. Good for your pups for listening to you, too. I think Abbey needs a retreat to your home for a few days. Recall in the house is perfect. Outside, she's completely deaf to my voice

LOL, usually mine pretend to be deaf when they are outside too. I have no idea why this one and only time they decided to "leave it" and trot back in. I keep going out every night looking for Lucky Nigel NoName but I haven't seen him in days.

Id totally try to feed it. I almost got to feed a squirrel doritos once, but it ran up in the tree and started yelling at me so I left it.
I'd REALLY recommend against hand-feeding wildlife, after all, you don't know where they have been...
Seriously, I've trapped possums (mark and release) during some national park research and they can carry some nasty parasites, in addition to having a lot of teeth and a very small brain. Best to leave wildlife alone. If you tame them down, they may approach less animal-friendly folks and get hurt. Don't mean to be a buzz-kill, sorry!

LOL, you don't have to worry about me trying to hand feed, or even put out food for wildlife. Why do you think I have possums in the first place? Because the STUPID IDIOT who lives behind my house sets out dog dishes every evening filled with dog food, and the STUPID IDIOT doesn't even have a dog. It's because of the STUPID IDIOT that my dogs have to sleep inside at night, and not out on the patio like they would like to. My dogs would spend all night barking at the wildlife that The STUPID IDIOT feeds.

This is really bad of me, but everytime Doc has killed a rat or mouse I throw the dead body over my fence into her yard. It's because of the STUPID IDIOT that they ended up in my yard in the first place.
Please don't think less of me because I did this, I'm just trying to get the STUPID IDIOT to think.

Wow. Just random food in a bowl to attract wildlife and make it depend on him? That's really off. Does he have a web cam on the dish or something? I mean, what's the point?

people really don't think straight do they, apart from the fact that these animals don't find
comercial tinned food in the wild, these animals become dependant on the timely feeds, and
will in turn bring their young, what the person dosn't realise is what on earth will these animals do
if the person moved away, and the next ones in can not stand wildlife ?

LOL You guys are great for makeing me laugh! I use to have a neighbor that was a little old lady and she would do the same thing. Lucky for me the biggest thing that ever showed up was a racoon because we live out in the mountain country and it could of been bears or something like that.

LMAO, you guys are hysterical!! And FYI, it's not Kumbaya, it's Kymbaya. It has to be all about me as we sing or it just won't work!

Yep, this STUPID IDIOT (SI) LADY does this every night, and her SI mother before her did the same. This has been going on since 1972!! That's how long they've owned the house. SI Mother and daughter (before the mother died) were busted back in 1985 for cat hoarding. They had THIRTY cats in their house. I live in a very nice neighborhood and you wouldn't think animal hoarding is something that happens here.
My neighbors are all white collared well to do people. These SI women were grandfathered in before the price of real estate on the coast sky rocketed.
The SI mother had a dog who suffered a stroke, and the poor dog should have been relieved of having to live a life where he could do nothing more than hold his head sideways and drool, bark non-stop at things that weren't there because he was also blind and deaf. Ok, I'm done, rant over.

Bitter, party of one, your table is ready :-D

As for the dead rodents, I would have done the same thing except I would have tied a pretty ribbon around their necks first. Ha ha ha ha.
