can you keep guppies and zebra tetras together?

It depends on the tank size, Zebra's are fast and they swim constantly which means they prefer a nice long tank like a 20 gallon long or even larger ^_^ Compatibility wise and parameter wise, yes you can keep them together but I don't suggest it if you have a 10 gallon with all these fish in it. Platies and guppies are very messy fish and just adding more fish to the mix might not be so good. Again, this is assuming you have a 10 gallon tank, if it is larger please let me know ^_^

I have a 36 gallon tank. I might be regretting the puppies as I think I enjoy the platforms and follies more. I always liked those little zebra Tetris and neon Tetris.

Yeah, you can fit the Zebra Danios just fine, they will be active though just so you know
they hardly ever stop swimming! ^_^ But as long as you don't have like 20 of each platy, molly and guppy, you can add some Zebra's
