Hi,musho3210 said:those blurry pics of the fish look like a type of danio, you need at least 5 danios, 6 would be better
They wont kill each other will they? :?FDStation152 said:well overall you'd probably be better off completing the group of danios. If you decided to get other fish however you would want to stick with other active fish that aren't likely to be bothered by the danios zipping around. Tiger barbs perhaps? They'll fend for themselves just fine with danios.
If space permits and tigers kept in group, there's not a chance they will pick the danios. Tiger barbs just pick on other fish if they are lesser in number or cramped with space but the rule that they should never be mixed with long-finned specimens should be strictly followed. Long fins are a temptation they can't resist.Vivification said:They wont kill each other will they? :?
Not in my opinion. Danios are surface dwellers whereas tiger barbs are mid dwellers so you can get away with 6 tiger barbs. If you are in doubts with tiger barbs, get some pentazona barbs instead.Vivification said:I dont know if I should buy a Tiger Barb, it might be a bit crowded in there with 6 fish and 1 Tiger Barb... hmm..
