I was thinking that I would hang it over the walls. I would like to drill the tank but I'm not sure how to go about it or if it is recommended or not. I'm not sure what a quid is, but if it's a multi-nozzle apparatus then that's what I was envisioning. As for flow, I was thinking 500-900GPH initially, with the ability to go higher if necessary. I know the concept is pretty simple, but I'm new at this and was just looking for any ideas that were out there.

Well a squid is a 'T'that the output of the pump goes into, the output is than split in two pipes and the flow is 'pulsed' between the two tubes.(alternating flows are good for coral)

And for a high flow rate like yours i would use a mag pump(very popular pumps, but mikes always dissin them) This is a 950gph pump
