does any one have experience with breeding shrimp, what type is the easiest(besides ghost)? how big of a tank will the shrimp need?
In brackish water? I don't think so. Guppies just don't tolerate much salt as mollies do. If your tank is large, go with mollies. They are as prolific as the guppies but mollies are larger in size.mudskipperman said:could i also breed guppies in this tank with the shrimp also.(im doing it partly for food for my mudskippers)
I wouldn't say only a few have bred. A lot of fish enthusiasts have managed to breed them(mostly in the community tanks) yet only a few managed to raise the shrimps(applies only to those who breed them in the community tank).mudskipperman said:i will get a seperate aquarium for breeding, mostly for the fun of it but partially for the food source, on looked on a website and cherry shrimp were 6 or 7 bucks a piece and said very few have bred them, is this right?
Are you looking for algae control in a 10g with cherry shrimp?mudskipperman said:is there a pleco small enough to fit in a 10 if not what is the smallest tank it could fit in
