I want to breed some fish I want to breed albino bristlenose plecostomuses angelfish and german rams in the same tank it's a twenty gallon high tank I am going to plant it really thick so the babies don't get eaten do you think this is possible I really love all the fish and want to breed them in this tank two of each will be the only fish in the tank and maybe a boy and girl apple snail too thanks Roadkill

That would probably be overstocked/poorly stocked even without the fry... Typically angelfish alone need larger tanks than that.

Generally when breeding fish you set up a species only tank, something similar (such as a breeding tank), or a tank with the focus on one species but containing other fish that will not be threats.

I think if you want to breed fish you should pick which ones you enjoy the most, create a set up suitable to their needs, and go from there. I honestly do not know a thing about angelfish or ram breeding and very little about plecos, but I do know that you will have a hard time keeping, and raising angels in a 20.

Even if you somehow did get all three species to breed in the same tank the babies would never last with the other fish in there. Remember- big fish eat other fish that fit in their mouths. Almost always.

cannot be done. Too small of a tank to breed in. Cichlids are quite messy, Angels too and both are territorial. Angels will end up eating ther babies out of fear. The plecos will be ambushed by the Rams and Angels. If you are wantingto breed te Rams and Angels get at least a 40 gallon for each. Larger 75 would be better for each.

I wouldn't try to breed that many in one smaller tank like that. I would say a pair of any of those in a 20 tank is ok or pushing it. With that many dif types of fish breeding also w/o massive amount of room the fry would b lucky to live. Best to have them their own tanks for each pair and just let them breed with their own and not have to worry about other types of fish being in w/ them.
