I'm interested in which plecs have been successfully used in Discus tanks?My breeder has ABN in his tanks, but I htought they liked it cooler? Around 80?
So what plec hasanyone placed in a Discus tank with long term success?

How high of a temp are you keeping it? I keep my community tank, which includes discus, at 82° F. I have a L-018 Gold Nugget, L-204 Flash pleco, and an L-260 Queen Arabesque pleco in the same tank.

So I'll use Celsius.:mrgreen: I have a BN thriving well in my discus tank with temp at 32 degrees Celsius.

Had to go back to using heater as November is getting colder until February.:blink:

I keep my common in my tank at 80-82...he is growing quickly and never looks unhealthy, for what it's worth..

No, my Discus tanks are 84-86 in the winter and much higher in the summer. That's what's worrying me about tankmates. Anything lower than that and my Discus all huddle around in little groups with their fins clamped and their bodies dark. They've been that way all along. They come from a local breeder here --and as you know, AZ is basically hell on earth so they were raised in really high temps.
