Hi, I currently have a 130 litre (34 gallon) fish tank which has, 6 ruby barbs, 2 paradise gourami, and 1 bristle nose catfish. I am just wondering if my tank is under stocked/overstocked? and also if it is not overstocked then what fish would you recommend getting?

I think you can add to the barb school and also get a bottom feeder like a school of Corys. As long as you have adequate filtration, that is.
