can the backgrounds that are printed on some kind plastic go inside the fsh tank.

Would rather paste them outside the tank at the back. The only internal backgrounds I know are usually cork tiles, styrofoams and cork barks.

they are laminated, but after awhile would start to deteriorate. they are made to place on the outside as blue stated. you have a lovely tank though.
