I just purchased CaribSea Argonite Sand substrate online because on PetSmart's website it said it could be used in freshwater tanks. Now I'm reading that it's more for Cichlids because it raises the PH. The description on the store website says "Supports the proper pH of seawater (8.2) with the fastest reaction time." Do you think it is safe for guppies, mollies, platys, tetras, Cory Catfish, etc?

I think Aragonite sand can raise your ph to 8+ so I wouldn't use it for tetra's etc.
Guppies can take a high ph but are best kept around 7
