Well, the title says it all. I was looking at a white, labled food safe, hose at home depot today. Its the kind of hose you would hook up for an RV or something. Would that be safe for aquariums? I was thinking about using it for water changes, hooked right up to my faucet, instead of a python, since my puppy recently chewed holes in my python hose. Also, would the brass fittings be a problem for any reason? I know about copper and inverts but how about brass. Thanks.

Sure is, been using one for years in the fishroom. Plenty of people get by just fine with plain garden hoses.
