Got this form a friend a while back and he never told me what kind of American cichlid it was. i have since lost touch with him and now im stuck trying to figure out what he/she is on my own any help would be most welcome.

The first pic is when i got he/she and the other two are of it now

Def not a JD or Firemourh. It does have the flowering on the side like a Flowerhorn. It could be a hybrid.

Jaguar Cichlid?

Hi to all :)

Recently i bought 2 jaguar cichlids or at least that's what i told the salesman, and he gave me these 2 in the pics. 1 of them is a jaguar cichlid for sure, but the other one i have my doubts if it's a jaguar or not. Can some confirm pls? :)

1st pic is definitely a Jag. Can't tell on the 2nd pic. Doesn't look like a Jag but can you get a better pic?

Looks like a green terror or texas cichlid! Its not a firemouth or jd. Definitely not

Second fish looks like a keyhole cichlid. Good luck!

hes very very aggressive i cant keep him with anything else. he even terrorized my convict breeders while they where protecting fry. and the are both about 4 in and hes only bout 2 1/2 in. hes also quite active and interesting

He's got some flowering on his side. I still think it's a low grade flowerhorn or flowerhorn hybrid.
