Hey again so I won a betta in a raffle so I want to put it in my 3 gallon tank. My question is what can I do about my ph level it says the total alkalinity (kh) ppm freshwater is ideal but the ph - freshwater is between 7.8 and 8.4 alkaline. My 40 gallon has perfect levels but I have fancy guppies n I heard u should not mix the two. So what do I do.

Yes do u think maybe give it a couple more days or do a small water change? Will it hurt the betta if I just put it in there because the condition of his bowl that he came in is about the same

Do nothing.... if that is the pH of your tap I think the betta will be okay. Acclimate him to his new home, and assuming it is cycled, put him in!
