The rod and reel world record alligator gar weighed 290 lb, and the trot line, or unrestricted division record weighed 302 lb. Both were caught in the Rio Grande River back in the 1950s, and measured a little over 7-1/2 ft in length.

thats a good place, only thing with them is most of there fish are "not 4 sale" as they are pet shop pets :?

the best place round here you can go is Wilton.
its a small shop but the guy there knows evrything there is to know about fish. the shop is phat, you go out the back and the tank set up he's got is just mad!!! mg:
its called PT Aquatics, buy the market square, you should go visit him.
i always phone him if i need some advice or help.
he's even saved the live of my Yoda, bless him, he knows his stuff!!!! :thankyou:

iv been there, not my cup'a, there is a back room but the tanks are all no bigger that a foot, and he is no longer getting in Cic anymore after the 1s he has has sole through.

porton might not be as good as service as him but they are still a frendly bunch (4 me any ways)

thats where i when wheni brought my tank.
the advice they gave me was crap, the fish they said were best for beginers were prob the worst and they were no help when i had problems

what fish was advised to you by them?
