The rod and reel world record alligator gar weighed 290 lb, and the trot line, or unrestricted division record weighed 302 lb. Both were caught in the Rio Grande River back in the 1950s, and measured a little over 7-1/2 ft in length.

have you been 2 the 1 in ferndown (stapehill) maidenhead?
thats a good place, only thing with them is most of there fish are "not 4 sale" as they are pet shop pets :?

iv been there, not my cup'a, there is a back room but the tanks are all no bigger that a foot, and he is no longer getting in Cic anymore after the 1s he has has sole through.

porton might not be as good as service as him but they are still a frendly bunch (4 me any ways)

the advice they gave me was crap, the fish they said were best for beginers were prob the worst and they were no help when i had problems

they also said guppies and again all they did was fight and die!!!!

when i phoned them for advice they couldnt help me with anything, any problems with the water etc there were crap.

they didnt tell me out about cycling the water and theysaid that after 2 days witht the water in the new tank it would be k to put the fish inb!!!
