Hello,

so i am getting all of the pieces of the puzzle together.

one of the last pieces, my tank is cycled, fish-less, and i will be receiving 10 galaxy rasbora in three days or so. i have been feeding the BB by dosing up to 2ppm ammonia per day and it has been dropped to zero within 24 hours. i just put my cherry shrimp in last night. when the 10 rasbora arrive, will there be enough BB to cope with their ammonia footprint? should i dose higher amounts of ammonia to prepare? will the cherries be okay if i do?

thanks!

Increase the extra 1ppm gradually so the bacteria break it down more easily. Shouldn't bother the shrimp that way. Once you can dose 3ppm and it's gone in 24 hours, you should be set to add more fish.
