Hey all...I attached a picture of my new tank! :D

I'm going to line the wall with more plants and get some driftwood in time. This weekend after Thanksgiving I'll be building a stand for the tank, it will be a treat getting on to the stand I'm sure. I figure this tank will do very nicely until I'm done constructing my tank (whenever that may be).

Let me know what ya think!

Looking good dprUsh83 :D

I don't envy you the task of moving it though. Are you going to empty everything out?

Well, I'll bring the stand right next to it and take out about 80% of the water and then lift it with 3-4 guys....or at least that's the plan right now. If that doesn't work, then yeah I'll just continue taking everything out until it can safely be lifted. It won't have to go far at all...just up and on the stand. :D

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking about a way to build a cave for some of my smaller fish, but I don't know what I want to do.

I've been seeing how people can glue their substrate on a PVC pipe or anything like that, but I'm not sure that is the look I'm going for, I want it to be natural looking, but I also want it to where I can see the fish when they're in hiding. Who knows, maybe I'll get bored and stroll around Menards tonight. :p

Slate caves are the easiset and best, as there flat and there weight holds then down.

Very nice! I like the black background and black gravel -- in my opinion the fish show up much better like that :) . Aren't you afraid that your big Oscar will snack on the smaller fish?

It's the most timid oscar in the world, the goldfish is in there to be eaten, and even it doesn't feel threatened.
