Hi all, looking for some tips for going on vacation. I'm a college student leaving for spring break from the early on the 6th to early on the 16th. In total, I will be gone for 8 days.

I have a 20glong planted, fully stocked with assassin snails, amano shrimp, 5 corys, 3 honey gouramis, and a small school of cardinal tetras. I do 2 weekly water changes, and feed every other morning with a combination of pellets and flakes.

There will not be anyone on campus that I trust to come in and feed the fish while I'm away. Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to make sure my dudes are ok while I'm gone? This is my first tank, I've had it for about three months (post-cycling), so I'm pretty new to this whole thing.

I usually just go on vacation for up to 2 weeks with no ill effects.

But I usually have peaceful fish also with heavily planted tanks.

You might look into an auto feeder.

just some thoughts
