Hello all!
I rescued two Panda Cories from PetSmart yesterday. I only have one extra tank (a 5 gallon hex) and, upon reading that they only reach about 2", figured that that would be sufficient. I am a bit concerned now, however. I don't have the room for another larger tank and cannot add anything to my two 10 gallons, as they are fully stocked. Is the 5 gallon much too small?
I have never had cories, but my roommate has successfully kept a single albino (I know that isn't a good idea, as they like to be in groups). The heater in the tank seems to want to hang out around 81.5 degrees. I have read conflicting reports regarding temp for these guys--isn't anything above 80 too high? If it is, I am going to have to get another heater (this one is at its lowest setting).
Would it be okay to add a few fancy guppies to the mix?
Thanks for your help!
