Now this will not be speedy, i have a few other projects on the go, so not expecting this to fly ahead any time soon

Tank: 3'x18"x18"
Capacity: 190litre or 50gal (approx)
Lighting: 4x 39W T5HO
Filtration: Internal (Canister eventually)
Substrate: DIY mix
Heating: 300W
Decor: Wood, Rocks, Live plants
CO2: Yes DIY
Fertz: Trace, Flourish and Excel
Stock: Tiger Barbs, RTBS & some algae type eater

This is very much a work in progress, heaps more plants to be added over time (as i get my hands on them)



*Java fern will not be staying

The plants i listed are generally happy with most lights. They tend to be used in low light tanks, but can be used in higher light

Update: I gave the tank a big trim as it was looking very overgrown

When I read the post saying that you were going to trim it (and after I was looking at the before pic), I was like, "Oh Noes!" :lol: However, with the after pic I think you nailed it!

Updated pic (sorry tis needing another trim)

I have added 4 dwarf loaches to clean up the pesky pond snails that have appeared!

Wow, those tiger lotus must take a while to grow! :)
Glad to see everything is going well, has the pond snails cleared yet?
They have grown more leaves, just not grown upwards so much.

The loaches have made a dent in the snail population thats for sure.....they will over time clean them up i have no doubts
Soooo 20 Cardinal tetras added, they need a bit of time to settle and mature and then they gonna be stunners (currently the neons way out colour them lol)
