Update time

The foreground weed needs trimming again lol The giant cardamine will also require trimming and replanting....

I will be ordering some more plants and goodies for the tank tomorrow, and they should arrive early next week

Looks nice. Are you going to do the baby tears (or pearl weed) long than do dwarf hairgrass in the the front?

I will probably continue the weed thats in front of the rocks to right to the front of the tank :)
I like the weed that is front of the rocks though, extremely fast growing so i can fill in the foreground quite quickly....means i will need to trim often to keep it short, but i like the look of it. There will be hairgrass that will grow through it also i imagine

So updated pic (The stem plants need a trim, so ignore the straggly bits, they will be fixed up this weekend)

I've noticed a few of the neons are missing, normal thing, they are not terribly hardy sadly. Remaining are eating well and look great though. The 2 dwarf gourami are still playing nice, though i think the blue one is the boss. Cherries are multiplying and their colour is really red.

Thank you :)

Anubias & Java fern, especially if going into a cichlid tank, these will generally deal with being given a bit of a hard time :)

You are welcome :) The Anubis and Java fern dont go into the substrate, they do better tied to rocks or wood :) So your substrate will be fine with them
The plants i listed are generally happy with most lights. They tend to be used in low light tanks, but can be used in higher light

They have grown more leaves, just not grown upwards so much.

The loaches have made a dent in the snail population thats for sure.....they will over time clean them up i have no doubts
Soooo 20 Cardinal tetras added, they need a bit of time to settle and mature and then they gonna be stunners (currently the neons way out colour them lol)
