Please help! Our paradise fish has raised scales on the left hand side of his body. They look irritated and his behaviour has changed. Normally he is very active and playful but in the last 2 days he's been slow and spends most of his time at the top of the tank. Attached are some pictures of him.

Just purchased a paradise fish for my newly cycled 10 gallon. As of right now, he is the only fish in the tank. The tank is moderately-to-heavily planted. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on general paradise fish care--and maybe even some possible tank mate suggestions:lol:. Thx!!
