My Fish
Well, I figure I'll show off my fishies for you all:
Noodle, my Yellow Tang, and Nemo (how original) one of my False Percs.
the Anemone was a gift my fiance thought I'd like but unfortunately he passed (tank was not mature enough, of course I don't think I'll own another anemone, they don't fair well in aquarium life it seems)

Pretty green button polyps, they've grown and spread since this photo

Caught in the act of diggin tisk tisk

I absolutely love my Fire Shrimp, he's so funny

Bad pic. of my Flame Angel, she's still in Quarantine.

My gorgeous Red Sea Sailfin Tang, muahaha they sold him to me as a Pacific Sailfin,
so I only payed $34 for him instead of $80

Noodle and Dori while they were being Quarantined.

You can tell who my special boy is =P

And that is all my salties, besides Jacques my Coral Banded Shrimp (he's not very photogenic), Gary the Snail and his two women Lulu and Daisy, and the two Hermit Crabs.

How large is your tank? what are the specs and hardware that are on it? How old is the tank and what type of lighting do you have? Where do you plan on going with it too?
Great specimens. You more then likely will have issues with the Sailfin and Yellow tang. They are similar body shapes and so don't do well unless in groups of 3 or more and added at the same time. Otherwise there will be aggression and territories.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea...

Right now I have a 55 and a 125. The three Tangs are in the 125, they were all added at the same time to that tank. Once I move into my own place (about a year) they'll be going into a 240. No they don't fight, if they did I wouldn't have them together. And if they eventually do the 55 will become a 125, and the 125 will become a 240 and I'll separate them.
I use RO/DI water
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
pH: 8.2
Salinity 1.024
15% water change every weekend.
The tank is 5 months old now,
and I use Coralife compact florescent 65W 10,000K Daylight and 65W True Actinic 03 Blue, with LED lights (I'm thinking of changing to Hamilton Technology Halide lighting because I've had nothing but problems with Coralife's bulbs >=/).
I'd like to eventually turn it into a reef, but I'm letting it settle in and mature before I get anything fancy.
*Sorry I forgot the hardware:
Fluvol 404 Canister (doubles as a powerhead)
UV Sterilizer for 53 Gallons (with powerhead)
AquaClear 110 (100 gallons)
SeaClone 150 Protein Skimmer
1 (I’ll be getting more, 2 ya?) Koralia 600 GPH Turbo Power Head
90 pounds of Agronite Live Sand
125 pounds of Live Rock
