What should i stock my 75 gallon with?
There are some fish in there but they are very old so i guess its time to start planning what to put in next. It's going to have a small gravel (almost sand) bottom with driftwood and big round rocks and ill make caves and things out of them. I'm also going to put live plants in.
But basically I just want to know what you guys would stock it with. I would like a lot of smaller schooling fish with a few larger fish. But i'm still open to anything. So, what would you stock it with?

I want the tank to be very active and just look badass. If there are any invertebrates that would look cool and be compatible i'll add them as well.

Welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.:-D

First question for you, what are your tap water parameters? Meaning GH (general hardness) and pH particularly. Some fish have specific needs, so this is the first thing to know. You can get this from your water supply people if you don't already know.

While we're waiting for that info, I would suggest you are probably thinking along the lines of a flowing stream or river setup. This is where you see more active fish. A SE Asian stream with barbs and/or danios, some loaches for the lower interest. Or a Central American aquascape with livebearers. Or perhaps a rift lake cichlids community. These depend upon water parameters, as the first needs soft to moderately hard water, and the second and third would need moderately hard to fairly hard water.

ok, ill get back to you on that.

well all depending on what your tap comes up with and what other fish you end up with for inverts that act pretty badass (but cute too) and can live in a community(depending on your fish) would be dwarf orange cray fish. I have a few in one of my tanks and even though they are barely bigger then my thumbnail they come right out at feeding time and have no problem pinching my bala sharks and DGs who are stupid enough to attempt to take the food. I have semi aggressive fish and they do not mess with those guys lol.
I also would say Cichlids but that will be pretty much a plant destructive crew no matter what type or region you get and again also dictated by your water to some level.
