I lived in Tampa, Florida for three years in my early 20's. Beautiful place ,great weather... always summer. But there's no place like home! As much as I'll complain about CNY, there's no place id rather live.

Spring, summer , and fall are splendidly cool and beautiful compared to most of the country. The rivers and lakes are always full and the fish are always biting. There's no greater beauty on earth than the first lime-green leafs of spring- so delicate and transient... a temporary delight before the regular green of summer foliage develops, made all the more precious by the harsh blue and white ice of winter. Then the kaleidoscope colors of fall leaves are like natures attempt at giving us some thing lovely to carry through the winter.

Springtime at last! Such a wonderful, giddy feeling that folks who live in perpetual summer could never understand!

I'm only 1/2 serious.I live in the Appalachian region of Va. and it's very clean and relatively unspoiled. I really wouldn't want to move, it's just this winter seems never ending.

In Syracuse, as soon as the temp tops 45 people start walking around in shorts, short sleeves and flip flops. I know warm and cold are relative terms but come on people!
