Feeding fish potatoes?
I stumbled across this video on the interwebs and would like to know your opinions about it.. because it seems very strange to me, especially using table salt?

I mean, if I had not seen the video (even now) I would not necessarily have believed it. Is there any reason that you would want to throw a chunk of potato in there like that though? I just feel that it would be there for quite some time and eventually would just be gross.
In my opinion you need to remove any uneaten food the morning after putting it in to avoid fouling. When we had hundreds of plecos at the Pet Store I worked at we would feed them many things like romaine and zucchini and one of those things was a yellow potato.
