hey. My favorite so far is Anubius... but you are going to have Cichlids in there..? I know they pull up plants and some eat them too. you are going to have to research each of your fish to know what they will and wont eat/damage. I have Rainbowfish and Swordtails so have not had any troubles at all. If you do the live plants make sure you have the right light bulbs, they need the light.
