    Hiya! Thought I'd respond to you here :)

    If he's active and eating, those are great signs. I don't know much about dropsy so I can't tell if there's any warning signs with his appearance. I know you're worried, but try to go easy on the medication/additives - it's just a lot for him to suddenly be exposed to, it may do more harm than good. So, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't use the betta revive right now, and maybe not even general cure. If he's constipated, epsom salts will help. And if he is in the beginning stages of dropsy, epsom salts will help that, too. Idk if you have, but check out the "Betta Fish Diseases and Treatments" thread.

    Just like the OP, lay off the feeding for a while. If he passes something soon and his belly goes down, but he's still a bit bloated, you can try giving him some frozen brine shrimp - they love them and they're full of fiber.
