Pearly Compressiceps Diet

Live fish, crustaceans, freshwater shrimp, insect larvae, aquatic insects. This fish will also accept flake, pellet and algae wafers as part of a varied diet.


Water parameters for Pearly Compressiceps

The Pearly Compressiceps should be kept in an aquarium with the temperature ranging from 75 to 81 degrees Fahrenheit, and a Ph of around 8.


A timid, but territorial cichlid, the Calvus is a lateraly compressed, elongated fish that inhabits caves and crevices in rocky regions of lake Tanganyika.
