Question Odessa Barb Aggression

Would love some help. Have a 28 gal tank with 5 tiger barbs and 5 Odessa Barbs. I've got one Odessa that swims the center of the top third and chases anything that gets near him. Spends most of his day being aggressive toward everyone else. Which is a bummer bc he's by far the prettiest. So, is this an individual characteristic, a species characteristic, do I need more females (I have 4 males w/ just one lady), less total fish, more Odessas? Would appreciate your thoughts.
