30gal Tall aquarium

I have a 30gal Tal (24x22x13) tank that has slight bowing at the top. Less than 1/16 in. Do I need to center brace this or will it be ok? It’s been up about 2 weeks. Cycled and doing great, If bracing needed is it ok to use tape at top only? If bracing needed, I assume I have to drain my newly cycled water?

Oh wow. I had some tank.questions myself.and was.lucky enough.to.find a tank builder in my small town.

If it's new you should take it back. Bowing indicates a construction flaw.

If it's not new, call around and see.if you can get some advice locally.

Good luck to you!

I think if you check 1/16" bow at the center top is pretty well normal for tanks. And cannot be avoided.

maintain Fw and marine system with a strong emphasis on balanced, stabilized system that as much as possible are self substaning.

have maintained FW systems for up to 9 years with descendants from original fish and marine aquariums for up to 8 years.

With no water changes, untreated tap water, inexpensive lighting by first starting the tank with live plants (FW) or macro algae( marine)
