unexplained deaths within all my tanks

I,m getting increasingly concerned, as i have now lost 3 male guppies, plus two small juveniles, I do however have a very aggressive female in one tank, now on her own but with babies!!!, i,ve done partial water change, cleaned filters tested water ph etc, what else can anyone think of and now have a juvenile witha cloudy swollen eye, sounds like popeye, but done seem to be able to find a cause .. help

have you ever had an experience with ick in the tank? small white spots on the fish, might even look almost bubble like on the sides of the fish? any sort of cloudyness on a fish points might point towards an infection.
what about testing GH and KH of the water? i had some unexplained losses with rummy nose tetras a while back and my GH was way off.
