Plecos are so much more active in groups. The more plecos/driftwood/plants you have the more content they will feel. Or at least with in my experience.

In my grandpas planted tank i put 6 silvers in there (i made the tank for him, all i do is come buy and do a water change on it every week). If they were hard they would be dead. My grandpa isnt the best, but he likes it and everything does well so whatever. I never had another type. But they are all probably the same. The main problem withe them is you HAVE TO HAVE A TIGHT LID. Or they will jump out fast. Even a very tiny opening, if they fit through it. You will loss some.

So IME they are pretty easy to keep. They do better in bigger schools so 15 will be perfect.

Dont do a common. They get really large and not great with plants. 6 yoyos would be nice.

A big common isnt to good with plants. So that may be a problem.

6 yoyos would work.

He's only about 3" ATM so hopefully should be fine for a while
So
4 angels
12 Corey's
12 rummy nose
12 hatchets
6 yo yos
And one common (for a while)
Should be all good for the 55?

To be honest I was thinking of them or maybe bleeding hearts but comparing the two the rummies look nicer the others I was thinking about were the black widows see the tanks in my living room where everything's quite dark furniture s black and the walls are cream and gray so I'd like to keep the fish not to colourful with a small bit of flare so the rummies will be perfect
